    Tarmac TX’s Women in Tech for Good Competition took place at WeWork Domain on the 11th of October in the middle of Austin's Startup Week. This event sponsored by 3M & Dell aimed at celebrating women entrepreneurs whose business have a strong social or environmental positive impact on our Society and/ or Planet.

    The pitch competition gathered 5 startups founded or co-founded by women: KinTrans, GuideChange, DiversityFund, Unaliwear and Idego . They pitched in front of a jury composed of Ann Fornof from 3M, Amanda Cayo from Dell, cofounder of re3D Samantha Snabes, and CEO of Risu Maria Nascimento.

    The winner of the competition, GuideChange, an online platform preventing elderly people from being financially abused, will be soon provided with one free month of incubation at Tarmac TX, i.e.:
    - 2 hours of individual coaching;
    - 2 hours of mentoring with a 3M employee;
    - Access to our classes, workshops, events and networking opportunities;
    - 1-month free access to Galvanize coworking space;
    - 1-year free access to Impact Network’s online platform (global network of entrepreneurs gathering 500+ startups in 20 countries).

    Congratulations to Leah and to all the other candidates for their great performances.
